We would love to talk to you about your wedding.

You don’t always have to live in a parish to get married at St. Mary’s or St. Peter’s. There are seven different reasons that you might qualify to have your wedding at one of our churches. All the qualifying connections are explained on the Church of England’s Your Church Wedding website.

In certain circumstances, where one or both of the couple wishing to be married has previously been divorced, it may be possible to be married in one of our churches.  This should be mentioned in your initial enquiry.

If you wish to talk to us about a wedding at St Mary’s or St Peter’s please come along to our ‘Business Hour’ which is held in the Parish Centre, behind St Mary’s Church every Monday evening between 5pm and 6pm. You can also contact our Parish Administrator, Sylvia, to make some initial enquiries.

The Church of England has a website especially for anyone considering getting married in church. There’s lots of information, answers to common questions and ideas to help you plan your church wedding. Click the logo to go to the website.
