Worship lies at the heart of the Christian life. It is in worship that we express our theology and define our identity. It is through encountering God within worship that we are formed (and transformed) as his people.

8.00am Holy Communion (BCP)

2nd and 5th Sundays and Festivals

This is exclusively from the Book of Common Prayer. The service is said and contains a short sermon. Come for a quiet tradition service lasting about 30 minutes.

St Mary’s, Dalton

9.30am Sunday Parish Eucharist

This parish Eucharist* is held at 9.30am each Sunday at St Mary’s Dalton.

This service of Common Worship is led by the Vicar and lay members of the congregation, the worship enhanced by the choir and hymns are sung. The Sunday school also runs special activities for the children during this service.

Eucharist means Thanksgiving. The service lasts about 70 minutes. Tea and Coffee are available after worship.

St Mary’s, Dalton

 11.15am Holy Communion

This parish Communion is held at 11.15am each Sunday at St Peter’s Ireleth.

This service of Common Worship is led by the Vicar and lay members of the congregation, we sing hymns and sometimes children and families from school come and help us in our worship (see notice sheet and news for details). The service lasts about 60 minutes. Tea and Coffee are available after worship.

10:30am Holy Communion (CW)

There is a service of Holy Communion at 10.30am each Wednesday morning attended by approximately 12-20 persons. It follows the Common Worship Communion and includes a short address.

It is a quiet reflective time and lasts about 30 minutes.
